Blogging
How to edit and add pages to your blog
Your website may also be made entirely on a blog platform. This tutorial will also help you make changes to pages and posts.
Remember that Posts are articles you add on a regular basis and show up in categories with the most recent on top. Pages are actual pages that are static. Pages are used when you are using a blog platform as your entire website, or if you want to add a static page to your blog to house things like events or notes.
Google Calendar
This short tutorial shows you how to add events to your embedded calendar on your website. A Google email and password has been emailed to you to gain access. To see what others will see when they click on the event, you will want to log out of your calendar account and return to your website calendar page.
Flickr
Flickr is an image gallery program offered through Yahoo. You have been given a log in username and password to access Flickr.Go to http://www.Flickr.com and log in with your log in credentials.
Flickr allows you to develop SETS, which are photo galleries viewed on your website, or on the Flickr website. We have embedded the slideshows into your website, buy you don’t need us to add images to your sets. Follow these instructions for loading images and adding images to sets.
Remember to save your images to your computer in a small resolution (600 pixels wide at 72 dpi is great) and keep the file size below 100 KB if you can. Larger images will slow down your loading time and also use up your free space quickly.
